Class DescriptionList Item 1
KGS Scripture Class curriculum consists of a series of Scriptural topics designed by KGS faculty to be taught throughout the school year.
Depending on the student’s age/grade level, parents may need to be involved in the teaching and implementation of the curriculum.
Grade reports are given upon request.

Curriculum AccessList Item 2
Upon enrollment, students will receive a school e-mail account. Class curriculum, weekly assignments, announcements, reminders, and other important information will be shared primarily through Telegram, with school e-mail used as needed for additional communication and materials.

Class DeliveryList Item 3
Students should review the curriculum and complete the assigned activities shared through Telegram and/or school e-mail throughout the week.
Once a week, KGS faculty will meet with students via Zoom for a class meeting. During these meetings, students will participate in a variety of engaging and interactive activities related to the week’s topic.
Occasional in-person meetings or activities may also be scheduled throughout the school year.
Prior to each class meeting, parents and/or students will receive through Telegram and/or school e-mail any necessary instructions, materials lists, or information needed to prepare for class activities and participation.
Regular class participation is important for students to receive the full benefit of the course and engage meaningfully with the lessons and activities.

Class MeetingsList Item 4
Class meetings are primarily held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (PST).

On occasion, a class meeting or special activity may be scheduled on a different day. When this occurs, parents will be notified in advance.
In-person gatherings may be scheduled throughout the school year for special events such as celebrations, field trips, park days, or other school activities.
The date, time, and location of all in-person gatherings, as well as any changes to the regular Wednesday schedule, will be communicated in advance through Telegram, school e-mail, and/or the monthly school calendar.

Meeting's Dress Code
When meeting in Zoom or in-person, unless notified differently, students are required to wear the school uniform which consists of:
For girls:
• White, dark purple, blue, or teal polo shirt
• Khaki or navy blue uniform pants, shorts, or skirt
• White, khaki, or navy blue socks
• Black, blue, or brown uniform shoes
For boys:
• White, dark purple, blue, or teal polo shirt
• Khaki or navy blue uniform pants or shorts
• White, khaki, or navy blue socks
• Black, blue, or brown uniform shoes

Opening
Participants are welcomed to join 15 minutes prior to the class start time to share time together.
Devotional
Time of prayer and worship
Class Development
• Review the class topic
• Work on class related activities
• Student presentations on an assigned topic
Common class activities include but are not limited to:
- Creating arts and crafts projects
- Participating in interactive group games
- Completing worksheets and learning activities
- Exploring creativity through a variety of engaging, hands-on projects and experiences

End of Year Celebration
At the end of the school year, students are invited to participate in a END OF YEAR CELEBRATION ceremony where they receive a Certificate of Completion for the class.
